The 10th International Union of Railways (UIC) Environment & Sustainability conference was organised in conjunction with the British Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC) on 11 and 12 September at the Institute of
Mechanical Engineers in London. Around 200 participants from 35 countries, including Canada, Korea and Japan, were brought together to share views on how the railway sector continuously improve its lead as a green, environmentally-friendly and
sustainable form of transport.
