Résumé

On 27 September the directors of the shareholders in high speed train operators Eurostar and Thalys - French Railways(SNCF), Belgian Railways (SNCB) and Patina Rail LLP (a consortium of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Quebec and Hermes GPE LLP) - presented a proposal to their respective boards to merge the two operators under a project known as
"Green Speed".
